It's Complicated – Or is it? Communicating Why Your Research Matters

Discussing our research within academic circles is familiar territory. But explaining its value to non-academic audiences—from family and friends to journalists and the general public—often proves more challenging. This workshop focusses on the principles and practices of clear, meaningful, and responsible science communication. We will explore how our research can be translated for broader public without oversimplification or loss of analytical depth.
