Virginia León Torrez
Ms. León Torrez has a Master of Arts in Spanish Linguistics/ Literature and Latin American Studies from the University of Bern. Since September 2018 she is a PhD student at the University of Bern, Institute of Spanish Language and Literatures. As a member of the doctorate program in Global Studies at the Graduate School of the Humanities, she is working on her PhD project Narratives of Violence(s) Against Women: Wasted Bodies and Deaths that (Don’t) Matter in the Contemporary Literature in Peru and Argentina. She also studied Communication at the University of Buenos Aires, and since 2012 she holds a Licenciate in Communication Sciences with a focus on journalism from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa.
