Maedeh Hosseinzadeh
Maedeh Hosseinzadeh is a doctoral researcher in the Medieval and Early Modern Mediterranean Mathematics (MediMath) project. Her research focuses on the history of Islamic Science, with particular emphasis on mathematics and mathematical astronomy. She works on the analysis of scientific manuscripts and the transmission of knowledge, especially in relation to figures such as al-Bīrūnī and al-Kāshī. Her broader interests include mathematical geography and calendrical systems in the medieval Islamic world.
