Guðrun í Jákupsstovu

Guðrun í Jákupsstovu was in 2020 elected as one of the two doctoral students for the SNSF-funded project The Beach in the Long Twentieth Century, supervised by Prof. Dr. Virginia Richter and PD Dr. Ursula Kluwick. Prior to this, she obtained an MA in Comparative Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam, and a BA in Comparative Literature at the University of Iceland. Her dissertation is a study of the beach in modern literature as a site of ecological and material encounters and assemblages.
