Travelling Expenses

GSAH:

The GSAH financially supports its ordinary members in visiting events, archives, museums or libraries (travel expenses, conference fees, accommodation, no living expenses) as well as in purchasing licenses, reproductions, etc. Please adhere to the following guidelines.

For doctoral students at the University of Bern, there are further possibilities of financing travel expenses in addition to the expense pool of the GSAH as part of their doctorate:

Faculty of Humanities:

The faculty supports one conference trip per calendar year (e.g. conference, workshop, summer school). The sponsored person must make a contribution to the conference. Only employees of an institute such as assistants and other employees are entitled to receive funding. Employees of third-party funded project (SNF etc.) are only eligible if no third-party funding is available for travel. Employees employed through free third-party funds are not entitled.
