Stefanie Marlene Wenger

In her research practice, Stefanie Marlene Wenger examines display strategies of contemporary art in the current context of the post-digital condition. She finished her Masters in 2014 with a thesis on the performativity of clothing as a material of contemporary art. She was a scholar of Deutsche Studienstiftung at Freie Universität Berlin and finished her Bachelor in Art History and English Languages and Literature in 2010 at the University of Bern. She collected valuable experience in the practical field of exhibition making while working at Migros Museum for Contemporary Art, Zurich (2014-2015), as a curatorial assistant at Art Basel Unlimited (2013-2014), in an internship at Swiss Institute for Contemporary Art in New York City (2010) and in her own curatorial projects.
